My new hair....

I finally took the plunge and went short! I teared up a little when the hair dresser showed me the 8 inch piece she had cut off... but I'm actually thrilled with it. I've never had my hair this short... it's so quick and easy to get ready..lol.

Pumpkin Picking Adventure!

Yesterday was a great day... we loaded up and headed out east on the island to Finks Farm.

We started it off with a 7 acre corn maze... took almost an hour to get through! Then we moved onto pony rides, playgrounds, feeding farm animals, eating way overpriced lunch (but worth it), bounce houses, pumpkin picking, calf roping (fake calves) and more! Kennedy was so tired from the day, she passed out on the way home.

Here are a few pictures from our day;

Pro-creating....

Yes, you read that right.

Pro-creating... Trey and I are trying to have a baby!! I know most of you are in shock right now.... thinking of babies in the past used to send chills up my spine and make me shiver in terror.

For the past few months the thought of a sweet little baby (hopefully boy) in my arms fills me with giddy and happy feelings! I assume this means we're ready?! Ready more than ever... I'm sooo excited and hoping it happens quickly. Kennedy is such a blessing to us, and although at times she drives us mad... we want a little mini Trey or Bri running around wreaking havoc right along with her!

My daughter, the celebrity!

Kennedy is always making me laugh... walking by her room this morning she was dressed up in a princess costume, listening to her Disney CD (Thanks Aunt Tracey) and singing along with her Hannah Montana microphone...lol...sooo cute! She was telling the invisible crowd, "Come on, sing with me!" And dancing around like she was doing a concert.

Speaking of concerts... Kennedy and her best friend here, Adrianna, decided to have a concert a while back. I just got some pictures from Adriannas mom, my camera was dead at the time. The girls made decorations and hung them in a tree. Adriannas mom, myself, Trey and Kennedys babysitter attended this concert. Kennedy was totally NOT bashful at all! She was definately the star of the show... dancing around and clapping... Adrianna did wonderful as well, just a little shy. We all know Kennedy isn't a tad bit shy!

Here are some pictures of my little pop princess and her concert...

First time entering the realm of blogging....

I thought this would be a great way to keep family involved and up to date with our life adventures since we're always moving around with the military.

Life in New York is treating us well. Although we miss our friends in NC, there is much to do here and it's nice to have everything at your fingertips. We are eager to get out of here though... make any sense? Figures, it doesn't...lol. Here are a few pics of our home in NY.... Yes, it's base housing. :)

This is the front of the townhouse... this is right when we moved in.... I now have a flowerbed planted in the front and decorations on the door and such. We live on the right side.

This is the backyard... keep in mind, this is the day we got our stuff so we're trying to unpack and get things into the storage unit. We have a playground in the back too!

This is looking from the livingroom back... again, we're unpacking here. We just got our stuff the day I took these.

This is looking from the back to the front. It's a small house... waaay smaller than what we had in NC. It took adjusting!
The kitchen...
